Are You A Cycle Breaker?

In yesterday’s blog post, I talked about the Upstream Analogy and how I believe pregnant and postpartum people, as well as current and aspiring parents, can break unhelpful generational patterns. I am passionate about working with this community.

People in this community may include those who:

-No longer live in their family homes, and are creating their own lives - and identities - outside of their family of origin.

-Want to heal from past traumas, and to make positive changes in their lives - and their children’s lives - by ending unhelpful generational cycles.

-Want to have a better understanding of their own limiting beliefs, emotions, and attachment styles, and learn how these things impact them as a parent.

-Want to heal their relationships with food and body so that they can be a positive role model for their children.

By focusing on this parenting community - these individuals who are change makers - we are working together to break generational cycles of trauma and abuse, and creating a better and more beautiful life for parents and their children.

This is where our work together comes in. The fact that you are already reading this is a sign you are a change maker; you want to be brave and break unhelpful generational cycles - not just for yourself but also for generations to come. This work will not be easy, but I promise you this work will be worth it.
