I have exciting news to share!

Starting January 1, 2024, I will be sharing my first and FREE challenge with you all. As you may know, it is common for people to give themselves permission to eat whatever they want, whenever they want, during the holiday season, with the plan to go on a strict diet after New Year’s. 

But what if we did not go on a strict diet starting January 1? What if we did the opposite?? January 1-10, I will be doing my first 10-day intuitive eating challenge and I would love for you to join me!

What is intuitive eating?

Intuitive eating is an evidenced-based model developed by two dietitians, Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch. We use the concept and practice of intuitive eating in the eating disorder treatment world. 

Intuitive eating is one of the more difficult skills to attain after years of disconnecting from hunger-fullness signals; judgments of ‘good’ and ‘bad’ foods; and attributing one’s character to what they eat. 

Intuitive eating is about:

-Reconnecting with your hunger-fullness skills;

-Making food decisions without rules;

-Practicing joyful movement;

-Challenging unhelpful thinking patterns around food; and

-Finding more freedom in your life.

With awareness, and a lot of practice over time, it is possible to heal one’s relationship with food and body.
