What Lights Me Up About What I Do?
Being a psychotherapist can be really hard, sometimes. Helping people work through their traumas, wounds, and negative core beliefs can be heartbreaking. Ending negative generational cycles can oftentimes feel overwhelming, almost impossible.
Because I have seen how empowering it can be for people when they are parenting their children the way they wish they were parented.
Because seeing people find peace with food and their bodies, and becoming positive role models to their children, is beautiful and healing.
Because witnessing people find resolve in reprocessing their traumas or prolonged stress, and be able to feel more present in their day-to-day lives without the distress related to past pains, is inspiring.
Because I know that this hard work *works*, and is totally worth it in the end.
This work has changed my life, and I love working alongside people as they make important transformations in their own lives.
